What it is

Inside Aerial Yoga

The hammock takes part of your weight, so shapes that are hard on the floor become available: supported backbends, hip openers, and inversions that decompress the spine without loading the neck.

Six hammocks, six people, fifty minutes. Every inversion is optional and every entry is taught step by step before you hang.

Who it is for

  • Anyone whose back feels compressed by the end of the day
  • People curious about inversions but wary of headstands
  • Members who want mobility work with a little play in it
  • Beginners — no upper-body strength is assumed
