What it is

Inside Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is the classical repertoire on the floor: bodyweight, breath and a small amount of equipment. There are no springs to hide behind, so the work is honest.

We use a magic circle, light bands and a 2 kg ball to add load where it helps. Fifty minutes, groups of eight to ten, taught with the same corrections you get on the reformer.

Who it is for

  • People who want a strong core without machines
  • Reformer members adding a second session in the week
  • Anyone travelling often who wants a practice they can repeat anywhere
  • Beginners comfortable working on the floor
