What it is

Inside Mat Yoga

A mat practice that borrows from hatha and vinyasa: held postures to open the hips and shoulders, linked sequences to warm the body, and breath running underneath all of it.

It sits well alongside Pilates. Where the reformer builds control under load, this class returns range to the joints and slows the nervous system down.

Who it is for

  • Anyone who wants mobility rather than more load
  • Pilates members looking for a calmer session in the week
  • People who sit for long hours and feel it in the hips
  • Complete beginners to yoga
